中国环境保护网（中国环境保护网.cn或www.hjbhw.com,www.hjbh.net）成立于2007年4月，是一家人力资源雄厚，以提供各类环保信息和资源为主的电子专业门户网站，具有广泛的群众性和公益性，得到许许多多政府部门的支持和帮助。本网站持有《中华人民共和国电信与信息服务业务经营许可证》，拥有环境优良的独立工作场所以及庞大的全国各地环境保护通讯员队伍，员工近百名。目前已有两千多家加盟会员企业。

网站主要职能在于宣传党和政府的环境保护政策，国际国内环保形势，整合环保产业信息和资源，给相关企业提供以信息发布的平台，同时也为大众提供环境投诉，论坛交流的区域。在传播环境保护公共资讯方面，网站横向联络全国各省当地主要媒体杂志互相交流信息，信息更新速度迅疾，涵盖面宽.在提供业内商务供求信息服务方面，网站加盟企业会员数量庞大，商务信息来源广泛、多样，查询便捷.尤其值得注意的是，网站首页面特别设有公开化的环境投诉平台和大小参考两个专区。公开投诉平台直接、快速地反应民声，大小参考让各级主管部门了解重大环境信息（全国各级环保部门现在和不久的将来都是网站的会员）
